the insurance assessor has been round n we had a good constructive chat

looks like we are gonna try n settle cash in lou

what this means is: we (i n my insurance) settle on a fixed amount if i source the parts myself n them get trev @ bsa cars to fit n spray them

this will not effect my premium as im fully comp protected nor will it be needed to b registered with the hpi for damage as only cosmetic.

the 1st quote got was for £8300 they said it needed jigging, new this, new that, which it didnt/doesnt!!!! even the assessor agreed this that some things didnt need doing.

the 2nd quote was from trev for £2200 if i get the parts n thats what im now doing

hopefully the insurance company will agree with the price ive quoted for to supply, fit n spray. so a result should come later this week n then she will be in the respray shop while im on my hols.

cant wait to get her back in 1 piece, looking more gorgeous than ever n then its phase 2: the ice install

i cant wait to see her fixed, well ok the clutch is now slipping so thats to be done.
oh, then there is the stereo to b installed, that means up to ABSOLUTE AUDIO she will go, get jas, noel n eddie to do what they are best at.

i cant wait till she finished, but 1 thing defo im looking into with si, is paint protection film. 3m sell it n it aint cheap or easy to fit but would b worth its weight in gold after ive just had her resprayed.

at the mo, she is still with jas, eddie n noel at absolute audio doing their stuff, had a change of plan at tuesday cause i got offered something i couldnt turn down!!!
the big chrome amp in the previous pictures is the rockford fosgate power 1000 amp. i originally bought it off jason 8 years ago, there was only ever 200 handmade by rockford!!! there was only 2 in this country, the 1 i own n the 1 rockford hq had.
after speaking to andy hefft, director for rockford uk/europe, ive managed to buy their 1 too
now i own both amps n fook me she will kick ass!!! absolute audio have now upgraded the subs i need n also changed the split charging battery from optima to stinger i believe, the power drain from these 2 amps is huge!!! over 4,600 watt rms of pure power!!!

god i cant wait for her to be finished, watch this space for pixs of the install. ABSOLUTE AUDIO ARE THE MUTTS NUTS, thanx guys xxx
